Finally - most of the kids are back in school. Yes, yes, yes! Can you see me doing my happy dance? I was not looking forward to it, honestly. But now that I have quiet for almost six hours a day, I am lovin' it!

I figured it is not too late for another Back to School Beauty post. Especially now that my daughter's friend was stressing because she had a pimple form during her first day of school. While it was barely noticeable to me, you know that is all that she (13 year old) saw on her face. We went through my stash and came up with Physicians Formula Blemish Rx, and I had her give it a try.

In this handy little pen type applicator is a tinted treatment to not only cover, but to treat the pimple at it's core. Kicking off #NYFW fashion week last night was a fun collection by designer Geren Ford. The clothes looks really fun, don't they? But I am here to gush about the makeup. Look at how gorgeous it is. Bold eyes, yes, again - but I so love a dark, almost black smokey eye. Beautiful.

To get this smokey eye, I think that your best bet would be to use a MAC paint pot. I am thinking Blackground, mixed with some really dark brown and pewter shadows. My suggestion would be Club, Texture or Tempting from MAC. The lips are once again nude for Spring? Well, maybe after the Fall and Winter where we are seeing such awfully dark lips, a neutral lip might be a warm welcome.

This is a fast drying liquid, in a flattering universal shade, that is simple to use. It is actually much easier to use than a brow pencil or powder, in fact. The unique formula bonds to both skin and hair and looks very natural when used to fill in brows.

My brows are in pretty good shape after letting them grow in a bit and shaping them myself, so I don't have shaping to do that I used to with a pencil. The brow pen fluid is perfect to fill in more sparse spots and doesn't look as harsh, at all. The universal color blends perfectly, and I only think this might be a bit dark for someone with faint, thin, or very blonde brows. But for light brown to dark shades, the color is perfect.

The formulation of this new addition to the Kiehl's line of fabulous hair care products, relies upon the benefits of an antioxidant-enriched formula. The formula is infused with a blend of thickening polymers (to help it stick) and an Omega-6 essential fatty acid to help fortify and texturize thinning hair. What I love about it is that my hair looks immediately thicker - without being weighed down. It smells divine, like a light refreshing mint, which I totally need for a pick me up in the morning too.

The only thing missing is the conditioner. I am very weird like that. I usually pair up a shampoo and conditioner that work together, unless I am adding a deep conditioner to the routine. I'll be waiting, Kiehl's.
