Vintage Louis Vuitton Wardrobe Steamer Trunk
So everyday I walk past this boutique called Polite Society, never really stop in, more of just stare out of the corner of my eye as I walk by. They usually have really amazing window displays set up. I remember last winter they had this Louis Vuitton Trunk on display in their window, which I thought was just a display item and not for sale. Well, turns out it is, and it’s still available.

So anyway, finally about 2 weeks ago I finally stepped foot in the Polite Society. Im not just saying this, but this is my newest favorite store. (and being one block away from the BB office is dangerously close.) They have gorgeous clothes and amazing one-of-a-kind home dcor items. When I was there, I picked up a Helmut Lang little black dress, which at first I was hesitant on the fit, but then the lovely lady working there convinced me, thats the fit of the dress so then I purchased it.. yeah, Im an easy shopper. Also while there, I spotted the authentic LV trunk (Appraisal papers and authentication papers from the Louis Vuitton company included), still there, in excellent condition, neatly on display in the back corner of the store by the changing rooms.

Priced at $9850. And guess what ladies and guys, you dont have travel all the way to Emerald City to get this rare piece (however if you do want to, I of course recommend it), visit shoppolitesociety.com.

Ps. If you are in the Downtown Belltown Seattle area, this is the newest boutiques to carry Rebecca Minkoff! Not many other downtown shops carry this designer. Oh and they also got tons of cute new fall clothes in for both men and women!

Free People Fringe Benefits Bag
I know I have said this before, but I just love Free People stuff. In case you don’t already know, their specialty is the Boho-chic look. I absolutely love their clothes! But what about their accessories? And, in particular, their handbags? To me, it seems like it is sort of hit and miss in this area. For example, does anyone remember the Chubby Change Purses (Read about them here: Free People Chubby Change Purses)? They were so adorable! It’s great stuff like these coin purses that make you wonder how a bag, like the one you see here, could have possibly come from the same designer. Introducing the Free People Fringe Benefits Bag. It appears as though Free People has jumped on the Fringe Bandwagon. Unfortunately for Free People (and everyone else out there that has come out with a fringe bag recently), fringe is never going to come back into style. Face it guys, there is only one place where fringe belongs — in the past!

The Free People Fringe Benefits Bag is constructed of ultra soft suede. It is available in Navy (as shown). The front of the bag features fringe and braided detail. The bag measures 12″ x 14″ and the strap is 17″ in length. It retails for $268.

Fendi Stamped F6 Secret Code Bag
Meet the Stamped F6 Secret Code Bag by the House of Fendi. Such a vibrant piece of art Fendi presents for its fall/winter collection. I mean, look at the striking violet color! I love it, and Im referring the deep eye-catching hue this piece has to offer. As for the piece as a whole, Im not too sure if Im fond of it or not. Suede is the material of choice, and although I love the material (and the luxurious smell of it) I know how difficult it is to maintain a suede handbag in good condition. I get a vintage vibe with that contrasting stitching found throughout this piece, and the oversized tigers eye stones fit in finely with the theme. As I researched this piece a little longer, I was quite disturbed by a certain detail Fendi applied to its F6 Secret Code Bag. The material of choice that lines the front cutouts of the bag is actually a patch of wolf fish skin. Eek I dont have any knowledge of how well fish skin or fish scales hold up with time, but Im pretty positive that Im nowhere near ready to give a fish lined handbag a durability test. If you dare to try something different, you can find this Fendi in Violet or Cherry over at eLUXURY with one hefty price tag of $2, 450.
