Britney Spears is going to be due for court again when her trial for driving without a license (remember that?) starts up again next Wednesday. Her legal team was trying to have the case dismissed or at least postponed, but according to TMZ the courts are not having it at all.
I’m not one who buys into the idea that a celebrity should get off on every single charge, but a whole trial which turns into a media circus over driving without a license? I think I would rather just fine her with a ticket rather than have my courthouse surrounded by paparazzi and screaming fans!
I guess we’ll see how it goes - stay tuned for Britney court photos next week!
Also, if you take a look at this site, there are also some still shots of Britney Spears shooting the video - she portrays a receptionist, a waitress, and a little blond sex kitten.
The official launch date for the video is October 10th. It will air sometime after 10 pm during 20/20. Meanwhile, she will perform the song first on X-Factor (UK) and then on Good Morning America. I can’t wait!

Will part of Britney Spears comeback include a lead role in a Broadway musical? According to sources it may very well be.
According to sources Britney’s recent visit to New York and attending The Heights was more about just promoting her single Womanizer. “She is, reportedly, on the look out for the right fit to announce her stage debut,” sources tell the New York Daily News.
In the past few months the notion of Britney’s comeback through a Broadway role was mentioned more than once. Even KFed was said to have had such talks so I would be careful planning the next trip to New York…

Britney Spears wrapped up her PR tour in the Big Apple and returned home yesterday. She seems to have wanted to avoid the photographers upon arrival in LAX by putting her white cardigan over her head but it didn’t work too good (to say the least).
Personally I think that she wasn’t trying to hide herself but something else (pulled out extensions?). What do you think? Does Brit still wear extensions?

Britney Spears is in the Big Apple to promote Womanizer, her recent single and gave a lengthy interview to Z100, the station who premiered the single for her.
‘Womanizer is a really cool song,‘ Britney told Z-100. ‘I like the fact that its so empowering for girls because its basically saying, ya know, we know what youre up to. Its about guys cheating on other girls and stuff like that. And its kinda like a girl anthem, so thats why I like it.‘
In the meantime, the single is also climbing over U.S. charts, it climbed from #50 to #39 on Mediabase Top 40 Radio Airplay counting 1,638 million audience and 1,200 spins (as of Sunday).
Lastly, it’s been confirmed that the single will be released on iTunes on October 7th. I saw it available for download on some pirated websites but the official release will only take place next week.
