Celebrity stylist Frederic Fekkai was born in Aix en Provence and at 21 began his career as a hair stylist. He decided to move to New York City when he was 25 and became famous for his impeccable haircuts. In 1989 Bergdorf Goodman approached him to create a salon in their store. Using this salon to showcase his talent and build his clientele, he launched his luxury hair care and body line in 1995.
